 | reply to bgcd ACN is the company that operates as an MLM. Everday people can sign up as reps and peddle their services. Are you a rep? |
|
 | reply to bgcd Im saying this because to join their service it's
Quebec (PQ) $563.25
and it seem you will get money by recruiting other people.Just wanted to know if it's a horse after the carrot type of thing.
Someone that i know asked me to join and i was telling him that he can forget making back is 563$ , so him asking people over here what they think about this. |

| reply to bgcd Most MLM schemes are scams at some point.
Do the math on most MLM schemes and you quickly realize that either you need to subscribe a lot of people and there aren't enough people in the world.
And with most MLM schemes, the priority is placed on getting new subscribers, not the quality of the service or goods.
In my books, I'd avoid it like the plague. |

| My Ex Aunt tried to pull that ACN scam on us a while ago... Then, this spring, my cousin tried to pull the same deal on my parents. The person who said they put way more emphasis on signing up people than actually providing service is right. There are many sites on the internet about this company, some even provide the slide they brainwash their new "fish" with. |

 | reply to bgcd i have a 18 year old friend who is going to school and one of her friends sucked her into this. and its already taking over her life. she went to detroit this weekend for their "big" conference. ive desperately tried to stop her but shes way to stubborn. i mean come on, your a frickin student. can u really afford to go to these things when u dont have a full time job yet? and acn doesnt pay a damn thing for you when you go.i cant do anything to stop either except just let her do this and have her fail and have learn. she lives in a small city of about hundred thousand and theres no way she can get enough customers to be successful. for one thing the market is too competitive for acn and it sounds like thier services are crap. its a huge risk for someone whos 18 let alone anybody. any other advise or stories would be helpful. |
|
 | reply to bgcd No matter the amount of people you sign up there's no money to be made.
Also i found that that their video phone and also donald trump is the way to lure people in. |
|
 | reply to bgcd I own a videophone from ACN and very much like it... It costs me less than I was paying with bell canada..My family members also have these phones no problem at all..anyways in the next few years it will be offered by the big players like bell and videotron Ive done my research and this company wasnt started yesterday...I think the scam your talkin about in my mind would be a rep with a promise of making big money to get you to sign up that would be misleading...Like every other marketing scheme theres work involved...All I can say is im saving money and the phone is free not like the last phone i had to buy from bell that cost me over 200 dollars that when paid off didnt work anymore. There answer to me was buy another one ....try to look past the end of your noses ....ACN is in my home to stay, thank you acn |

However they were found guilty of misleading advertisement in Europe.

 | said by cpsycho:I guess they dont understand that people with higher IQ's cant be brain washed with ease. BS, I had 3 friends in CEGEP that went on and signed up with Excel communications back in the day. They tried to lure me but didn't succeed. Told them I did not believe in this scheme and they left me alone after that despite being persistent before. These guys are both doctors today, granted that doesn't necessarily mean they have high IQ's but they were duped while I a non university graduate was not. |

 | reply to bgcd I'm not sure I'd call it a scam, but it's damn close to one.
I have two friends in it. I've known them for a long time and one claims that he's making a lot of money from it for the time he invests into it. That might very well be true, since this friend is a great talker and he's sucked in quite a few people into this. He went in knowing that it was a pyramid scheme. He's been with them for a year (it's on the side, though; he has a real job). Still, he seem to like it when I ask too many questions and when he does answer, I sadly can't say I what he says.
As for the other, I don't even want to talk about it with him. Or I get annoyed.
Don't do it. If you attend one of their meetings or whatnot, you have to see it this way: it's a cult and they're selling people the hope of being the rich guy. Those that buy the sermon can make some OK money preaching it, but not many people are as good as they'd like to think and they can't see it as a long time investment, which is exaclty what ACN wants you to see it as. As for the actual amounts of money that they'll talk about (things like 3k a month or whatever): it's a load of crap.
If you ARE to give them your money, then make sure you get paper proof that they will give you your money back. My friend who "works" with them told me that this is possible, though of course they don't really want you to get your money back since they make their money by screwing people over, not by getting someone to use their telephone service.
PS: They're on the internet as well. |
