I try to set up the Apple Mail mailbox, when I give it the login info username@dslextreme.com and the password, it attempts to login, but fails. Yes, I am using the right name and password, just as used to login to the web mail. Yes, I am using imap.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com and the steps as outined in the frugal help. The mere fact I have to do anything at all is unacceptable. DSLX should have made all changes transparently to the user.

I tested with one of your secondary usernames and was able to connect via IMAP without any issues. It appears there is an issue with your primary username authenticating via IMAP. I will need to escalate the issue with our operations team. I will follow up with you tomorrow. In the meantime you can continue to use webmail or our old servers.
