Anyone have/tried localnet in Houston, Tx ?

I've been with MSN for my ISDN ISP, and there was usually always a good access number with a steady ping (usually qwest), but recently the last good access number switched to the common 3 junk backbones the rest use. MSN in Houston has a bunch of access numbers, but they all lead to just 3 backbones, which aren't that great.

I was wondering if anyone has tried localnet in Houston, and can give me any details on the ping and dual channel connectivity. I've already dummy connected to one of their access numbers in Houston, and it was able to connect and get a MAC address, but obviously I couldn't connect to the net and try 128k.

When EV1.net sold out in Houston I tried Localnet. I could not connect with dual channel. I spoke with their tech support and was told that I was not going to be able to connect dual channel in Houston.

This was between 1-2 years ago (cant't remember the exact time)and could have changed by now. Call their tech support and give them the number you would be using. They should be able to tell you whether or not their is dual channel capability in Houston.

Keep us posted as to what they tell you.
