That is why I don't do VOIP at all and do not rely on cell phones - even if I have to pay $30 more..

Yup. I'm an idiot. Never again. My mind is pretty much made up, I dropping this TOTAL POS UVERSE, and going back to POTS + DSL. I can live without cable tv. My only choice is with Comcast which we dropped due to high prices and lousy channel lineups. Cannot receive sattellite tv / DISH / whatever due to trees. Oh well. Live and learn.
