Some will have a gripe with the providers and be on the attack, some have financial interest in some form and will do as their masters say, or, others see broadband the way THEY want to and use it and will base their data in the way that best makes sense for them, again, not thinking about the network and infrastructures at large.

So, really, are there really any groups out there with out a bias? unfortunately, a lot people are stupid (or ignorant), so you are right - why should verizon stop thinking they are?

on the other hand, the government has this agency called the "FCC" that is supposed to be looking out for the public interest, so it's not really the job of the 11 o'clock news.

Once someone gets a hold of that blog post, it will get ripped apart by those who either do know or think they know.
