I haven't read the article so I don't know if Verizon contacted the people involved but I can imagine some man or teenager being confronted by this and the mother or wife torturing him for making these calls when here's proof it wasn't them. this may seem funny but it's not to the accused..(by their spouses)

There is a reason why these shows are scripted and edited to hell. If you don't sign the disclaimer/release of liability and your on the show, its raining money for you in the lawsuit later
