Re: Pixelation Woes I cancelled my U-verse TV due to compression artifacts and pixelation on both SD and HD. My Comcast HD signal was clearly better in sports and action scenes, not perfect just better.
I contacted AT&T about the issue and they didn't seem to care and happily let me go. I'm on the 25mbit profile as well and have 10mbit MAX Internet.
AT&T is doing a lot of compression and using low bitrates on video to achieve 2SD and 2HD over the 19/25mbit channel. To get higher bitrates and better quality they'll need to go a higher profiles with VDSL. I'm across from the VRAD so my line can achieve much more, so if AT&T ups their quality I'll probably go back. |
