- Contacted site web host and site owner (all clear)
- Tried opening the site using: IE, FF, Safari, Opera, and Chrome
- Winsock fix
- Ipconfig release/renew
- Hosts file check (only localhost listed)
- DNS flush
- Uninstalled network controllers
- Disconnected/power cycled my wireless router/modem
- Called my ISP (no blocks or outages)
- Ran a traceroute using VisualRoute (all clear)

Hi Mike, we'll see what we can do to fix your problem.

Please be aware that posting for help on multiple sites wastes Helpers resources, and you should not request duplicate assistance at multiple forums (your topic at »www.techsupportforum.com/network···tes.html)

Please post to your topic there (and at any other forums where you have requested help) to let them know that you are receiving asisstance here to prevent duplicate assistance. It not only wastes resources, it can cause problems when receiving instructions from more than one source.

Please post all HijackThis logs while running in Normal mode, as in Safe mode not all items will show in your log.

I suggest printing out each set of instructions and reading the entire post before proceeding. It will make following them easier. Please follow the directions in the order listed.

I notice that you have Spybot's TeaTimer running. While this is normally a wonderful tool to protect against hijackers, it can also interfere with HijackThis fixes. So please disable TeaTimer by doing the following:
1) Run Spybot-S&D
2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts

When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
Then, Download

http://downloads.subratam.org/ResetTeaTimer.bat

Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer.
Please don't forget this step to disable teatimer.

Please disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.

Open Windows Defender.
Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

From Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs, remove anything related to WinTools, Toolbar, or Search Toolbar or ToolbarBrowser. Do not reboot until the last application has been uninstalled.

Please run Notepad and paste the following text in the Code box into a new file:

quote:
REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{24180B00-2EB6-11d7-BD6F-004854603DCE}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{71AAABE5-1F0F-11d7-BD6F-004854603DCE}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{24180B00-2EB6-11d7-BD6F-004854603DCE}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ToolbarBrowser_is1]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TRELLIAN]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\{24180B00-2EB6-11D7-BD6F-004854603DCE}]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\{71AAABE5-1F0F-11D7-BD6F-004854603DCE}]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TRELLIAN]

Save the file to the desktop as fix.reg and make sure the "Save as Type" field says "All Files". Then please go to the desktop and double-click on fix.reg, and click Yes to merge it with the registry.

Then using Windows Explorer, delete the following folder:
C:\Program Files\TRELLIAN

Please Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
- Click the Update tab.
- Click Check for Updates.
- If an update is found, it will download and install.
- Click the Scanner tab.
- Select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
- The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
- When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
- Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
- When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
- The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
- Copy & Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Now you need to run HijackThis and click "Do a system scan only." Place a check next to the following entries (if they are still there):

O2 - BHO: Trellian BHO Impl - {24180B00-2EB6-11d7-BD6F-004854603DCE} - C:\Program Files\TRELLIAN\Toolbar\toolbar.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7AA07AE6-01EF-44EC-93CA-9D7CD41CCDB6} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: Browser Address Error Redirector - {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {981FE6A8-260C-4930-960F-C3BC82746CB0} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: Trellian &Toolbar - {71AAABE5-1F0F-11d7-BD6F-004854603DCE} - C:\Program Files\TRELLIAN\Toolbar\toolbar.dll

Now close all browser and other windows except for HijackThis, and click "Fix Checked" to have HijackThis fix the entries you checked.

Please do a scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner

Note: If you are using Windows Vista, open your browser by right-clicking on its icon and select 'Run as administrator' to perform this scan.

Click on the Accept button and install any components it needs.
- The program will install and then begin downloading the latest definition files.
- After the files have been downloaded on the left side of the page in the Scan section select My Computer.
- This will start the program and scan your system.
- The scan will take a while, so be patient and let it run.
- Once the scan is complete, click on View scan report
- Now, click on the Save Report as button.
- In the drop down box labeled Files of type change the type to Text file.
- Save the file to your desktop.
- Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Please post a new HijackThis log, the log from MBAM, the log from Kaspersky's online scan, and note any errors encountered.
