That is the older and original GTS. Meaning it is substantially slower then the newer G92 revivsion GTS, and even slower then the 8800GT. You can get an 8800GT for $130 off of newegg and it will show better performance then the G90 8800GTS and only takes up 1 slot (It runs cooler).

No. It performs slower in most cases when compared even to the older G90 GTS. However, this should not prompt you to purchase the 8800 GTS on sale at fry's.
