I have no idea if they actually fixed it, or it just started working for some unknown reason.  Zero communication with ATT.<br><br>That makes it 3 total failures.  No phone, no Internet, no TV.  Pretty awful.  Unaccaptable by any measure.]]></description>

My old POTS had worked for 30 years with NO interruption except one time when the lines were hit by lightning.  Shorted the protector.  I took it out, and eureka - dial tone.  I called repair service, a human answered, and it was replaced the next day.<br><br>2 things have me boiling.  The crappy UVERSE service itself, made worse by trying to get a hold of ATT to report a problem.  I lost track of how many times something burped, the tv screen went blue and a message "PRESS OK TO CONTINUE" popped up.  WTF?  This is just an obsolete technology that still isn't ready.  Sorry.<br><br>They also lie about 24/7 tech support.  It simply isn't there.]]></description>

I'm an idiot.  Never again.  My mind is pretty much made up, I dropping this TOTAL POS UVERSE, and going back to POTS + DSL.  I can live without cable tv.  My only choice is with Comcast which we dropped due to high prices and lousy channel lineups.  Cannot receive sattellite tv / DISH / whatever due to trees.  Oh well.  Live and learn.]]></description>

It's one thing if a hurricane blew through and destroyed the facilities or phone lines, but this just looks like some sort of other system failure.  This is crap.  What's even worse is attempting to contact ATT service.  What?  No service before 0700?  WTF?  I give up.
