What you're seeing is how much your computer isn't using for programs plus Windows resources; available free memory. I guess it ignores superfetch when displaying that value.
Mine showed 2.79GB, I rechecked system information and it now shows 2.82GB.
You can confirm this with Task Manager; Physical Memory #%, which mine shows 29-30%. |
