Darien, IL | [Connectivity] Outage in Chicagoland Western Suburbs?
Anybody with an outage in the Downers Grove/Darien area? My Arris has just one solid green and one flashing green. I have no internet and no comcast phone service. Cable TV is fine. |

| Poor form. I'm replying to my own post!
Anyway, two comcast trucks came into the area. They said that some of their equipment close to a retention pond shorted out (we've had very heavy rain here in the Chicagoland area yesterday and today) when the retention pond overflowed.
They said they were able to "divert the signal" and power up another set of equipment close-by.
Anyway, all is good now. I wish Comcast Digital Voice had a failover number whenever they aren't in service. People dialing were just getting a fast busy. |
