No fair!

If WOW does do their upgrades, their ultra tier will be significantly faster on download speed than is available here through anybody except Comcast Business.

Honestly though I'm glad to hear that WOW is moving into 2007-2008 with speeds. Problem here is Comcast is stuck in last year.

I wouldn't say Comcast is stuck in last year. They do have markets with 16/2 mbps packages. And the rest of the country 8/2 mbps is the top tier. I would say WOW and Comcast are pretty neck-and-neck here.

Okay, let me rephrase: WOW will be upping their top speed to 15/2 in ALL markets, with no PowerBoost tomfoolery. Comcast on the other hand only implements 16/2 service where there's FiOS pretty much. The Denver area is stuck with 8/2. So while some areas aren't so bad, WOW's top tier would be a significant improvement over what I have right now with Comcast. Basically the difference between speeds for the first 50 MB of a download and speeds for the full download.

No FiOS here and Comcast offers 16/2, for less than what WOW will be charging for 15/2. And yes, I am a WOW customer.
