Re: Powercom Powercom is a reseller of Verizon numbers but when I contacted them they said they do no porting on their own. I did a lookup of the number and it has never been ported so that tells me it still resides with Verizon. The customer sent me their bill so I know they are Powercom's customer. I just can't seem to get to the correct Verizon dept. to port this; I think I might have to give up. |

| Yes, we are a CLEC. Haven't had any trouble porting with other Telco's until this one. |

Steamboat Springs, CO | If Powercom and Verizon's wholesale departments are not responsive to you, then advise your end user that you don't have agreements to port from Powercom, which seems to be true ... have them port direct to Verizon, then pick it up. that will be a test of your selling skills! |

| Yes, I guess that's what I will have to do. Just hate to give up on something. It's my first failure to port with a company. Thanks for the advice. |
