Whats the point?

Whats the point of cable companies whipping out DOCSIS 3.0 if they cannot support customers with what they have now? Seriously I mean come on whats the point of having 100mbit downloads if you have these retarded caps? Do they really think they are being innovative by making the pipes bigger and then saying hey you can't use all of it???

I think you mean faster. Bigger and faster are different. Bigger means more content. Faster means faster transmission rates (duh).

Dks7,
Im sure that he isnt worried about how well your service performs. He is worried about how his performs and its true that just because his works that way it doesnt mean everyone elses does but guess what, HE ISNT PAYING FOR EVERYONE ELSES SERVICE. He pays for his. Because of that simple fact im sure he would like for it to work the way it should.

Well if the excuse for caps is not enough bandwidth to go around isn't docsis 3.0 suppose to alleviate that problem?
