how not to keep customers

As we all know att raised their prices just before summer- I had read about it beforehand here, but never got an indication from att. Just one month w/out any hsi charges, then the next month we get the new rate x2 to make up for the "free month". How not to keep a customer!
July, we get four calls in one week asking if we want faster speed/attwireless/caller id/directv. Isn't the first no good enough for a month or two? Good gawd, it's the phone company, if I want to upgrade my service, I think I can get a hold of you. Pestering the customer (and if I really want rag, I could add insulting my intelligence since it took four tries before you were satisfied with my answer). How not to keep a customer.
They recently sent their Tos which states that they will continue to send notification when they will be adjusting rates. CONTINUE?!??!! Pointing out your own inadequacies, or outright lying, one way or the other- How not to keep a customer.
I read recently that they were gonna offer a price lock so I go to the web site and see my old $14.99 plan being offered, and I see the $10 "naked dsl". Weird, I do not see my plan- 768/384 $19.99, I see my speeds ,but not my plan. $10 dsl is only for people who haven't had hsi from att in a year. And I'm wondering if the $14.99 plan doesn't have some new customer clause as well (see edit). When I call them tomorrow, I will be asking about that. Fortunately, after all this I went to the dslextreme website and noted my options.
What, you can call me four times in a week to offer me ways of raising my bill, you neglect to inform me when you are raising my bill, and you cant even put in your stupid att newsletter the fact that you brought back a plan that met my needs and is the same as what I have now except for the new plan has free wifi access and the $5 discount. Say it with me now people-
HOW NOT TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!
edit: Yes, if you click on the fine print button at the bottom of the plans/offers page it says that the $14.99 deal, the price lock for two years, it's for new residential customers. Does this mean that existing customers are on notice?
Please explain how you will treat new customers well, when you're screwing your existing base.

And at 8pm, you call again attempting to upsell my speeds. The $14.99 plan I ask about, "I'm sorry, not my department". Well I'm sorry you wasted our time. I will call dslextreme tomorrow.
