Even when I set IP 192.168.1.5 to my comp I could not access the modem as 192.168.1.254.
It looks like the modem is in the bridge mode

Go into your nic settings, and set up a static IP, something in the 192.168.1.xx range, With 192.168.1.254 for the gateway. Then you should be able to access it. For some reason I have pressed reset button on the modem.
Since that time, I have no access to the modem.
I connected my modem to the computer and it does not see the modem by IP. I tryed different ips. (10.0.0.138, 192.168.1.254).
It's connecting to internet using PPPoE connection from windows xp. and the modem is invisible
