| said by Phoenix2088 :Thanks for finding the info. I'm sure this thread will eventually be filled with speed tests. Indeed! It is past midnight here in the central time zone. I am going to go ahead and do a reboot to see if I get a speed bump. I doubt I will get anything at this time though. Might have to wait until the morning or afternoon. |

| reply to DJ Matt Gah! I rebooted and nada yet. Gotta go to bed soon to be up in time for school. I will reboot the modem when I get home and by then I should be a happy camper. I wonder if the uploads stay the same. My current upload is 500kbps. Not sure if that is going to be bumped up to 1 meg or what. Looks like you have to get the 15 meg to get the 1 meg upload. |

Who knows though with WOW. To confirm we will just have to watch as people report back with speed tests and what not. |

·WOW Internet and C..
2 edits | reply to sllywhtboy I don't think anyone knows what is going on for the ultra tiers exactly.
EDIT: logged on remotely and reset the modem. bin file has the same name (HSD_Advanced3SA11.bin) and speeds haven't changed yet EDIT2: reset a 2nd time, no dice. im going to sleep
BTW i dunno if its common knowledge, but i've always found it easier to reset the modem through the browser: »192.168.100.1/reset.cgi |

| reply to DJ Matt If I read the new tiers correctly, it looks like I fall in the 15/1 category. That totally rocks. I'm currently at 6/650 so I'm looking forward to seeing the increase when I get home this morning. Now to be completely satisfied, I hope that WOW is finally bringing Caller ID to TV into the Evansville market with this upgrade. Then I will have everything I need. |
