[Praise] POTS and DSL...

After the wind storm Sunday we had no power for almost 24 hours. But we did have POTS the entire time and we had internet when the power came back - many of the cable folks - still do not have internet and if they have VOIP - no phone.

Hopefully they can recharge their cell phones or they will be phone less.

Weird. I had the complete opposite last year. No POTS, but cable and internet was running solid.

 Two days after Katrina, I had power and Internet. I was lucky b/c the State Police were using a school and some hotels that are close by as a staging area. We must have been on the same grid.

I gave up drinking and eating bad food. And in 14 days, I had lost 2 weeks.
