At least I still have my networked Series2 TiVo w/Lifetime Sub. I'll just hook it up to a non-DVR box and go nuts.

I cant see them being open to people downloading content off their DVR's for use on another device unless there is some sort of DRM associated with it. I am not sure how ATT is going to coordinate that with Apple, as they already use their own form of DRM for content purchased via iTunes.
