Re: sounds to me like said by daslog:It's fair. I think the problem is that Fairpont is trying to re-create many legacy sytems that Verizon was doing, and it's a lot hard than they thought it would be. Sounds like the classic newbie engineer's mistake.
I'll never forget learning the tried-and-true "it was done this way for a reason" lesson.
What I don't get is outside of rebranding assets, what more would FairPoint need to actually do given that Verizon sold them a working network.
