Thanks for your testing, at least now we know it's HCC that's just not efficient to run on 8-core Macs. What a waste.

Sadly from the responses in the WCG forums they don't really know how to fix it and just suggest running other projects. Oh well, my 8-Core Mac Pro has been happily crunching HPF2's.
