I tried using the firmwares from that link but they both (3.6 and 3.6.1) seem to be corrupt. Does anyone know anywhere else to get them?

the files are not corrupted , just download and unzip the file using winzip or winrar and try

Also Make sure that the firmware are compatible with your ADSL router "Check your model number"
