I'm glad there are tons of condos going up downtown and that we have a vibrant and safe downtown. The food, weather, people and overall quality of life are amazing compared to other places I have lived. Yes, traffic is bad, and not being able to buy a beer before noon on Sunday is one of the dumbest things in the history of mankind; but those are minor annoyances. There is something for everyone even if it isn't downtown. Hell, even the air quality is great!

Now that I am done offending all the old farts here, I really, truly do love Austin and even if I do end up in Dallas yet this year(money talks), we already decided to keep a condo in Austin.
