Re: How About Austin, Texas ? I don't doubt you at all about that. It makes me blue to see all the high rises going up and to have places like Guadalupe St. transformed into a corporate run outdoor shopping mall that is nothing like it used to be and every time I see those things I realize that Austin is being transformed into just another city. That said there are still pockets of "old" Austin around and while there may not be as many as there used to be it still beats Houston (and Odessa) by a long shot. |
