 | yeaaah steam is great as the game developers can sell the product for a decent price without spending piles of money for cd's/jewel cases/labels, packaging boxes, delivery to merchant stores, pay partial royalties to merchant stores. You wonder why your paying 50 bucks for a game that should only be 20 or lower. Besides cd's don't last forever, I lost count how many cd's went corrupt because the backing got scratched a tiny bit. Games that require you to leave the cd in the cd drive for checks is just gimp. For starters it destroys the lifespan of your cdrom drive. |
