| Doesn't mean they wouldn't offer at a later point. Google and Valve don't seem to be a good fit.
Valve has a very different style of developing games that would likely conflict with the interests of management at a larger company. I seriously doubt that they will sell out until most of the founders are ready to retire/leave. |
