| reply to SGR Re: Sarah Palin's Yahoo Account Hacked
said by SGR :supergirl, I could be wrong but I tend to disagree with the two things you said: 1. Wikileaks being taken down It's actually a fairly common thing for it to be down during times like this and yet it always pops right back up when things calm down. It's hosted by PRQ in Sweden which also hosts The Pirate Bay. I could be mistaken but it would take A LOT for it to actually get taken down. (At least more than the FBI whining about it, thats for sure) Just look at how long people have been trying to get TPB taken offline and yet it remains active. 2. It hasn't been confirmed whether the hacker has been arrested or not nor do we know if he was actually smart enough to cover himself. You would think with something like this he would be but who knows. Wikileaks DNS has been deleted.
The hacker's email addy is rubico10@yahoo.com. I said it was my understanding he's been busted. His fellow hacker turned him in.
See »michellemalkin.com/2008/09/17/th···hacking/ for Rubico10's posts. It is hilarious. Now he is sitting scared in the dark waiting for the Feds or is already been busted.
Yahoo deleted the accounts by the way. They still have them but not available to anyone but Yahoo personnel, and, the Feds---FBI and Secret Service. -- Saving the world keeps me busy. However, I find Earth very primitive from my home planet of Krypton. -Supergirl |

1 edit | reply to SUMware It sucks for that guy. I guess he doesn't know what free wifi is. And it's pretty sad he was clever enough to get into her account but not smart enough to know how to download all the emails. And putting the info in a public chat was plain stupid. I guess he will have fun in jail now. Which sucks, this is hardly a crime, but republicans are going to call this guy a liberal hacker and try to use it to their advantage. |

The /b/tards strike again! (No, and I do not visit 4chan's boards, and never will). But I must admit some of the memes that have come from there are downright hilarious.
But this time one of them may have gone too far. Even though he is anonymous, the FBI and Secret Service will eventually catch up with him. -- "The trouble with computers, of course, is that they are very sophisticated idiots." - Doctor Who (from Robot)

| reply to Doctor Four I think he got caught by worse. BillO. He wants everyone on the webpage arrested and was really ripping into the source webpage he would not name. Saying it was disgusting and the type of webpage exploiting free speech. Kinda funny.
I just hope the Yahoo ToS makes this an issue between the "hacker" and yahoo. And not between rich republicans looking for news distractions and the "hacker". |
