| If you save the proper files, *.pfc, the global thing, etc. then there's no problem. I've gone so for as to make backup copies and offload to a disk/thumb drive.
Much of what they need is kept on AOL's servers. Buddy list and the like. They can also chose to save emails to AOL's web space by toggling that feature in the future.
Anyone that keeps AOL now has probably had it for a long time. I understand the paranoia. I would hate to give up an email address that I have had since the 80's. |
