Most of the cases never go to trial. They bully the "defendant" who agrees to pay...normally a reduced amount than what accused of. Most of the accused have no way to defend nor afford to hire a good attorney....so they just roll over.

Actually, in my mind, the biggest problem with his statement is at the very end, "do everything legal 'or not'". Any lawyer, defense or otherwise is obligated to follow the law. Prove otherwise. It's that same kind of whisper campaign used on a certain presidential candidate. Make implications without actual charges, and eventually it becomes 'common knowledge', even though it's still a lie. Just like 'all defense lawyers lie to get their client off'. As someone said earlier, 'until YOU need a lawyer to defend you against bogus charges. This guy is getting what he deserves as no one should be able to step up and defend someone against the RIAA. That is just plain wrong.
