| The 3g speeds on AT&T suck. Comparable to Sprint EVDO Rev 0 in OKC. Rev A blows AT&T's EVDO out of the water, at least in Oklahoma.
Off Topic: I was looking at AT&T's 3g coverage map yesterday. What the hell is the problem? How is it that Sprint & Verizon have EVDO rev.a coverage in extremely rural areas and up and down every major highway...but AT&T can't even cover the major highways with 3g? I don't get it. -- MCSE, ACSA, and a lot more

| As a lot of ATTM subs will tell you -- all you have to do is go to, say, the ATTM-related boards on Howardforums -- is that since the iPhone 3g launch ATTM's 3g network has shown all the signs of being horribly oversubscribed in a lot of places.
So it's a good thing they anticipated a 5x load increase and are seeing only 3x. If there had been a 5x load increase the 3g network would be essentially unusable in a lot of places.

| They are only using 1 of the 4 GSM bands so coverage sucks. It is not just I-Phone, my Samsung drops calls all the time and you cannot turn off 3G, in Australia I never had 1 dropped call anywhere on 3G although the I-Phone still has problems there. | |

@comcast.net | ATT has *EVDO* in OK? LOL Think again.
Why is it so hard for some people to understand how much is involved in rolling out new technology on such a massive scale(?)
