Mhhh ... its waiting for a logon prompt for 5 seconds but nothing happens.

can you describe the logon procedure for this modem?

when you telnet into it it prompts you for a Login: which is admin and a password: (default admin unless changed)

this is strange because int the log the tool waits for a prompt but the modem does not say anything. no welcome nothing.

btw: whats the full vendor name of the "IKNS" dslam chipset verdor id?

Ok solved ... IKNS is Ikanos Communications

Ive uploaded a new version 3.34 (same link) ... please try AdslCtl again and attach the telnet_tc.log please.

under info can you see if you can get the firmware loaded to show up there?

Ok i removed the dirty detection again .... increased wating delay to 10 seconds instead... hope this helps ... if not we are giong to live with that i fear.

i guess we need to live with what we had before.

tested older versions (which would grab the stats), and those still work :/ i guess this 3com is very picky :/

Maybe you just need to click on [Aktualisieren]/[Refresh]
when the information fails to be gathered on your 1st try as
i've often seen this happen using 'DMT'...
