| Hi Orbmu2k,
'OrbMT' supports my Siemens SpeedStream 4200, my Thomson SpeedTouch 546 and hence both my ST516 units. My other two MoDems are from GNet: one old BB0060B and a GBB2060-Xi, both with the "Viking-II" FirmWare and using either a Viking or Vulcan ChipSet from GlobeSpan/Virata/Conexant. All of my MoDems (six) provide Error Rate information and i'm ready to provide "Debug" logs for those, when Angelo is done!
He! He!
The GNet CLIs appear to be highly compatible, for all practical pruposes: e.g. the addition of support for one GNet will most likely translate as support for many more clones such as VersaTek's VersaXpress VER170M, etc. I'd be very pleased to contribute!...

The 'stmtlog.txt' file generated by 'STMT' doesn't include the Error Rate information, i'm not sure it can be made to record samples at regular intervals and i'm almost certain there's no option to adjust the duration of those eventual intervals anyway...
The 'DMT v7.35' log file ('dmtdiag.txt', whatever) does include the Error Rate information and it can have its sampling rate set to a high resolution of fifteen seconds (wow!) but i noticed the records can be scrambled by random dates in innapropriate fields, i'm afraid!!! The "noise" curve i've shown in a previous post was created using the 'DMT v7.35' "Diagnosis" file, actually; this graph was created by 'OpenOffice Calc' but i believe that the glitch at the start of the last segment was caused by one of those random events which polute 'dmtdiag.txt'.

I understand your situation regarding new devices/ features all too well, my hope was simply that some of us would give you the feedback you seek... It's good news enough already to have 'OrbMT' released in English, 'OrbMT' adds nicely to our arsenal and the stylish design makes it pleasant to use, not to mention all of the numbers are found in one small capture which can be turned into an animated .GIF!
Honestly, my opinion is that the major improvements which were made lately are worth a congratulation; personally, i was quite pleased, on top of that, as i have discovered that 'modemtool.csv' was implicitly compatible with SoftWare such as 'OpenOffice Calc', which does turn it into a professional grade trouble- shooting tool. Speaking of that, here's that sample where i could observe column shifting earlier today:
Please, consider that i mean this as a constructive contribution only. It's hard enough to make contact with authors like you, BoxFan and Amatt these days, i don't want to be annoying! Euh... But if i may...
Is it possible to obtain a copy of the source-code?
