Re: question about bandwitdh

Ok, here is my recent problem, i'd like confirmation as to if I understand this because then my recent problem would then be resolved....

The last day of billing date. It is at 25 GB and my limit is 30GB . So I try to reach about 30GB before stopping. Yet, the meter still show 25. I'm somewhat puzzled but I do know that it might take a few days.

The next morning, it is a new cycle, no problem about that and the site confirms it. But I'm very surprised that the meter indicates that I've got 5 gigs already downloaded/ uploaded. Of course, my 3th party program says I've done nothing yet for this new billing cycle.

Based on what you say, the previous days were not yet recorded by Bell and when they did, they carried that 5 gigs from the previous day to now.

Needless to say, if it is the case, it is very important to check the meter when the end date approches. And worse, you don't know if they will decide to carry those GBs to you next billing date or not at the last minute ...

Stephen

thats it

@videotron.net

yup.

In other words, will I get screwed this month by Bell or will I get screwed next month by Bell because they can't track B/W usage without a huge delay.
