Frankly orgs like the EFF are a good thing. It's pretty silly to think otherwise regardless of what political party you subscribe to. Watching the watchers is a necessity.

I also think it's pretty funny the ones who think it's perfectly fine to wiretap everyone's conversations because "they don't have anything to hide." That's just hilarious.

And so we're clear this thing about the information prior to 9/11, well guess what both Clinton and Bush had information which could have prevented it, prior to any extra wiretapping/monitoring. There's no party high ground there.

If you go and live for a few years in a more civilized country, like Canada, Sweden or France, then by comparison you will realize that the US is a corporate police state. Wake up you sheep and take back your country.
