| Order ID# 515925, Express ISP Change
Hi,
I recently placed an order for an Express ISP Change from AT&T to DSLX on 9/6/08, but it appears that my CO is at full capacity and DSLX is still not able to provide me with an activation date. Would it help if I cancelled my AT&T dsl, then submit a new dsl order with DSLX? Will that alleviate the 'CO Full' error? Or when should I expect AT&T to increase capacity so I can continue with the switchover?
I was given the same error when I tried to sign up with Earthlink DSL last year, so I placed an order with AT&T instead; and they were able to activate my line a few days later. Now DSLX is giving me the exact same error and my order is again stuck in limbo as it was with Earthlink (fishy, isn't it?).

| Hi Larns -
I checked with our orders team on your order. They have requested additional capacity be put in with AT&T so that your order will flow through. We should have an update for you by early next week. Canceling your order with AT&T won't help and will likely cause you unnecessary downtime as it voids the ISP change process. Please check back with me via IM early next week.
Thanks for your patience. We should have you switched over shortly.
Thanks -- George General Manager DSL Extreme Will work for reviews. |

| Thanks for checking on my order, George.
I was recently switched over, on 9/26, but now my download speeds seem kind of slow. I originally thought it was going through the ramp up period, but speeds haven't changed; I'm still stuck at 1.7Mbps down. When I was with ATT, I was able to download at near 3.0Mbs so I don't think it's the line. I also rebooted my modem (2Wire 2701) today, but the speeds are still the same. |
