[VoicePulse] New Website!

Hey did you all notice VoicePulse's new website? I was first exploring their service in 2004, and the website had remained exactly the same since then. Although it makes things clearer and easier to find, it's almost a little disturbing to see it change!

Does this mean they're about to embark on a big marketing push? If so, I hope they can handle the customer surge while still keeping up their quality. I was just thinking about signing up with them due to their age old reliability!

Apologies. I am very confused. I have looked at their website many times in past 2 years. Looked at it again today and it does not seem very different. Maybe a couple of little spiffups here and there, but almost all of it looks the same. And has the same quirks.

SUBSEQUENT EDIT:

(See updated post below---the new VP website did not show up for me this afternoon, but it did show up this evening. And looks very nice).

I noticed the same thing--no change. Maybe the OP is referring to the account management part of the site?

I don't know what you guys are seeing but it looks completely different to me... No more huge pages of text, lot easier to find information. It also seems like the home & "VoicePulse Connect" services have been merged into one interface. Looks like a pretty effective facelift to me -- their website was always detracting from the superior quality of the rest of their service.

Just thought of something. Maybe you guys need to do a shift-reload or an "ipconfig /flushdns" to see the new site.

I'm definitely seeing a new website design at www.voicepulse.com. I've used VP for 2+ years, and the site has definitely been updated in the past few days.

Yes! Strangely, it was NOT there when I looked this afternoon, but NOW it is there (11:30 pm EDT).

Maybe the old site was still present on some servers. But this afternoon I did do reloading, cache flush, DNS flush, but I still got the old site.

ANYWAY, you folks are right. This new site looks very nice. And it looks like they have some new plans, too.

Nice job. And thanks to the OP for pointing it out.

OK, folks.

As of just now---12:20 AM EDT---the OLD website is back up.

This is one of those quantum mechanics situations where different realities can coexist simultaneously and can flicker back and forth.

Looks better when hitting the "Home" link

Much of the pages look washed out.

CallerID with Name not only shows you the number of the person calling but also their name. VoicePulse is the first provider to offering incoming CallerID with Name! We also allow you to customize what shows up on your CallerID display with Contact Lists.
Bold added for emphasis.
LOL!

Block calls from telemarketers even before your phone rings! Our Telemarketer Block feature disconnects the line so you'll never have to get up from the dinner table again!
Room for clarity.

Keep the babysitter from running up your phone bill by dialing 411 instead of looking in the phone book!
Happens often? Could have a better scenario ...

Distinctive Ring
Cell phones aren't the only ones with ringtones. Know who's calling even before you stand up and walk over to the phone!
Infers rings tones?

Extra Large Calling Areas
Our local calling areas are larger than any other provider so you'll never have to make a long distance call to someone that lives down the street!
Unlimited services are bigger.

 Re: [VoicePulse] New Website!

In spite of nit-picking, VoicePulse is a mature full-featured service I would have tried by now, except Canada was never included in the (Unlimited) calling plans. I have only heard great things about them. They are an example of functionality to the VoIP industry.

======

And calls to Canada from the US are 2.9 cents per minute. That's with the 24.99 per month plan. Not a very good deal compared to almost anyone else that I have seen.

Re: [VoicePulse] New Website!

Looks like they have combined the regular Voicepulse home page the and VP Connect home page. Logging into the new site takes you to a business and wholesale main page if you are a VP Connect user.

I like it so far.

Wow, I love the new site. It is so much faster moving from place to place. And the search feature is not only fast but it works with wild cards now. The site is greatly improved!

Numbers (source and destination) in call logs are practically unreadable.

I can't figure out how to log into my "Connect" account. I have both accounts, with same login ID. Anyone ?

Search?
When you click on the "Calls" tab a list of recent calls appears. Underneath all of the tabs the words "search all calls" also appears. Clicking on that allows one to search for calls to or from a specific number of number series.
