Re: New Home Office

Really, really cool set up.
The clocks.... can I assume because there are three blocks in the first row that it can be set to display 24 hour time?

I love the binary clocks. Very cool idea. Get them from thinkgeek?

It's the 72" hutch and it's on the 72" desk.

Yes, but what about the hutch ? Which size desk is the hutch on, the 60" or the 72" ?

Bought it online from Staples. It's under Furniture Collections > Commercial Grade > Executive Office Collections > Bush Westfield Collection, Ready-to-Assemble > Hansen Cherry/Graphite Gray (you can pick any finish you like and it should be all the same pieces)

I forgot. Is the hutch on the 72 or 60 desk ?

Yeah, definitely would've gone 30" if I could afford it.

Still looks like Chris Pirillo's setup, should of gone 30" monitors, then it would be exact :P

Very Nice, seems very functional and not cluttered at all.

Just a little update. I've since added a couple of Acer 24" monitors (model X243w) and an 8" digital picture frame (can't remember the brand). I also moved the keyboard tray over after having removed the left end of the 60" desk so I could physically attach it to the 72". I was getting tired of it sliding around and having to reposition it.

I was just going to say that. Except Chris has a couple of 30" Dell monitors and a Macbook on his desk. I really do like the Tix clocks, I probably will pick up a couple of them myself.

Similarities aside, you've done nice work. Your desk looks very good! I also have the same wallpaper you have in the first shot - got it from caedes.net.

Yep, that's the one. First time I saw that setup I knew that was exactly what I wanted for my home office. Took me a while to find out what those lights in the hutch were until I read somewhere that they were TIX clocks. I couldn't find the desk either until Chris made a video about his desk. It was totally worth the investment. Everyone that see's my office loves it and I love showing it off. I wouldn't mind having a couple of 30" Dell's sitting on my desk, but that's just a fantasy for now.

EDIT: Totally didn't even notice the last poster's username was ChrisPirillo, lol.

Those lightbars on top of the hutch are made by Cyron. Here's the link where you can get them.

Nice. Thanks. Most of the stuff that came up on Google were LED lightbars for emergency vehicles.
