Ram upgrade not recognized

AnnaS8 : My Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-EZ1005X came with 1GB stick of ram. I bought another 1GB stick and installed it but it still only recognizes 1GB in the BIOS or in the control panel in XP. In the BIOS I don't see where it will let me adjust the amount of ram at all. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Nevermind...I found where it had to be enabled in the BIOS. Thanks.
