<description><![CDATA[stevesa posted : I think the biggest problem with these municipal networks it simply the fact that the cities try to go out and create them on their own.  I work for a small cable operator here in Tennessee.  We have partnered with the City of South Pittsburg to provide WiFi to the residents and businesses within the city limits.  We have 110 access points that we installed on our existing infrastructure.  The incremental cost of maintaining the network is nominal.
