It might be legal ...

but it's morally questionable.

Re: It might be legal ...

Why? Do you feel it morally questionable that all of the other purveyors of porn advertise their wares? Or just Media Defender given the seedy past?

Re: It might be legal ...

I said it's questionable, not wrong. The circumstances for any purveyor matter in making that decision. A company's past like MD certainly adds to those questions!

They also sell music but put that same music up on BT in a bogus file, creating an identical hashmark as another file(not knowing what's in the file just going by name) and screwing up peoples downloads.Legal and non legal downloads I may add.And when they hack into a company's server and use it as a bot I really find that they have no ethics or care for the law or anyone, just the money.

Is it any worse then churches running Bingo Halls, gambling, or selling raffle tickets to win cars?

Pray upstairs and gamble in the basement.

Does it make either right?

Re: It might be legal ...

It depends on the law of the land.

Morality is just how one feels about things.

Is it illegal or not goes back to laws.
It is obvious that morals over the years have gone downhill and companies know this so they push as much as they can.

Re: It might be legal ...

I dispute the idea that morals over the years have gone downhill ... In days of yore, morals were just as horrible but a) they didn't have the media telling them about every case of immoral conduct one could conceivably imagine, and b) they dealt with these things far more "in the family" or "swept under the carpet".

You can dispute it all you want that is your right.
