| Yeah, TV looks great. No problems at all there. It just has this squeeling kind of high pitch whine. I just went to the Samsung website and looked it up in there trouble shooting guide and it says it can be either a fan or the color wheel and I have eliminated the fans as the culprit. It also says that the color wheel has to be installed by an authorized repair technician.
I am way past warranty so voiding my warranty is a non-issue, but it does not say anywhere in there if this thing has to be calibrated or if it is just a simple swap of the new part.
Yeah, I am afraid that I might not be able to find the part anywhere other than an authorized Samsung repair place in which case he might not sell it to me without him putting it in himself. |
