It's not any weirder than any southern bible belt state, in fact I would say it's less weird than bible belt states. Utah is one of the most beautiful states in the union. The state has more federal land as a percentage than any other state in the union. Nearly 2/3rds of the state is national park, BLM or other federal lands. It also probably has the single largest declared wilderness zone (no mechanized vehicles allowed, can only travel by Foot and Horse) in the 48 in the Uinta National Forest. |
