Even if they don't right now, who wants to bet that they do in the near future  My parents finally got BellSouth/AT&T DSL a couple of weeks ago, but before that they used Alltel's Axcess service. I was still living at home up until last November, so I had a chance to use it. Ping times were good when our area first got the service, but things started slowing down after awhile. On average, I got around 1.2Mbit/sec download speeds.
Had my XBox360 and PS3 hooked up to the CradlePoint router we used with the data card and I downloaded gigs and gigs worth of demos and games. Never heard a peep from Alltel. When we first signed up for the service, we asked if there was a cap -- they said that there was not. Like you said, though, that'll probably change. |
