Connection went blip in the middle of me watching a movie on this machine. When I performed a speedtest after the movie I discovered that my speed bump has been flattened.

No improvement in speed. Only difference I see is a change to "fast" rather than "interleaved" and the correspondingly lower pings.

I notice that now there appears to be someone else in this forum with a similar problem. I wonder if there is something in common between the two of us.

I have Elite DSL and my speedtests on Speedtest.net have been no higher than about 1.2 Mbps, as though the line were provisioned at 1.5 Mbps rather than the 6 Mbps that it ought to be.

I've rebooted both the router and DSL modem and I've also hooked up the modem directly to the laptop (bypassing the router) and have achieved the same result.

Could anyone help to fix this issue, please?
