I Switched

from TMo to ATT a month ago. I have a free Motorola V9 and a free Pantech Duo, Media Net, ATT Navigator (GPS), XM Radio, Cellular Video, and the rest of the unnecessary bells and whistles to play with. Does TMo even have video?

But mostly, I have more bars in more places than I ever had with TMo and I have rollover minutes. Ha!

Oooohhh, a Motorola phone! Exciting! That costs you how much each month?

Unless something's changed, T-Mobile and ATT have roaming agreements with each other. When a t-mobile customer is outside of the t-mobile service area they roam on ATT's network for free... So, I find it difficult to believe that you have better coverage on ATT when you could roam on their network with t-mobile before at no cost.

That's not true for all areas... only in some cases.

The thing about roaming is that if you have a marginal signal from your main carrier, and a strong roaming signal, your phone will default to the marginal signal. If the marginal signal disappears, then you'll end up on the strong roaming signal. Some phones allow you to set it to force roaming to avoid this issue, but many don't.
