I ONLY DID THIS ONCE & CAN ONLY CONFIRM THIS WORKS WITH MY MODEM.
RENTED BELL MODEMS ARE BELL PROPERTY.
YOU MAY GET CHARGED FEES FOR MESSING WITH IT.
How to Unlock a BELL 2Wire Modem
(ONLY Model 2701HG-G):
-> Bought (Not Rented) a Bell Modem from a guy
-> MDC was password protected
-> Could not visit Websites. Kept getting Bell Registration Webpage

gateway.2wire.net can be replaced with the modem IP Address 192.168.1.254 or whatever it may be
