 | Xplornet really does suck ! My e-mail account was recently taken over by Xplornet, it was supposed to be a "seamless transition", but all 4 e-mail accounts in our house quit the very same day the service was changed. The two accounts on PC's were re-started but Xplornet is incapable of dealing with a MacIntosh! They've told me 1) it's my fault because my Mac mail program is "too old" (I bought my Mac new last year). 2) It's Apple's fault because Apple hasn't trained Xplornet staff how to use Mac Mail. I mean Give Me A Break, have you ever heard such a stupid excuse?! 3) That I have to go to Apple and get something changed in my computer. 4) That Xplornet staff really don't have to be bothered about my little problem, and I should be happy going through their web mail. It's amazing to me how my former internet provider, tiny little Aernet in Woodstock, New Brunswick could somehow work perfectly fine with a Mac, but country-wide Xplornet, which is also based here in Woodstock, has apparently never heard of MacIntosh and has no intention of making any effort regarding MacIntosh support.
I've been an Xplornet customer for about 5 days now, and I just hate them already !!!!! |
1 edit | So Xplornet has MAC settings for MAC mail on their site. But I think it's new.. A few tech supports hears 'MAC' and get confused, cause the script on their computer screen does not work anymore. And when some tech support people get confused, they try to put all blame on the end user..
