Which channels are currently part of Digital Vision Plus? I'm not seeing anything by that name in our current lineup.

I don't know about all providers, but RCN almost NEVER provides a written agreement.

In any event, their two year contracts appear to be a bad deal for the customer; the customer agrees to pay a hefty penalty if he/she leaves, and RCN agrees to change its service and charge whatever it wants for equipment.

That's called a consumer ripoff, and the mere fact that the rest of industry engages in such shoddy practices is hardly an excuse. In this case, the ad is a friendly warning that if you are receiving the channels listed (Mojo HD, HDNet, Discovery Theater HD, HDNet Movies) that they are being switched to the HD Premium lineup. Customer Service told me that Premium is the same as what they currently call DigitalVisionPlus. Currently, the channels are all part of the free High Definition lineup.
