So if you find the key that is being modified you can export it to a .reg file which will give you a 3-click install.

You should be able to set policies and do pretty much anything as though you're actually there.

For the machines joined to AD, I can simply use group policy that points to the WSUS for updates. This is no problem for me.

However, with workgroup machines, I have to modify the local gpo on each of the workgroup machines. This is kind of painful for me.

I have heard of a computer group in WSUS. Can I use computer group in WSUS while using domain GPO?
