anon : I m planning to deploy a WSUS server in mixed environment, which is Active Directory and some workgroup machines.

For the machines joined to AD, I can simply use group policy that points to the WSUS for updates. This is no problem for me.

However, with workgroup machines, I have to modify the local gpo on each of the workgroup machines. This is kind of painful for me.

I have heard of a computer group in WSUS. Can I use computer group in WSUS while using domain GPO?

Thank you
